
Rene’ Wendt, PTA
Rene’ received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Montana in 1977. She taught for seven years, and then home-schooled her young children. She returned to Whatcom Community College in Bellingham for her Associate’s degree for Physical Therapist Assistants.
After completing those requirements in 2003, she also received her PTA license in July of 2004 for the state of Oregon.She worked for two years in skilled nursing facilities, and joined Bellingham Physical Therapy in January of 2006. She has taken a Maitland spinal mobilization course and plans to complete a Pilates certification. She is especially fond of working with the elderly and those with special needs. One of Rene’s dreams is to use her skills in a developing country.
As a native Montanan, Rene’ loves the outdoors. She enjoys hiking with her husband, dancing with her daughter, and playing basketball with her son. Her passion for running has added many wonderful adventures and brought great people across her path.
